Why I Am Not Interested in Your Product or Service

As sellers of a product or service, we should be sensitive to what our buyers need and want.

Our message will come across loud and clear if we deliver it when our buyers are ready to hear it – not when we decide it’s time.

In addition, we need to make it easy for our buyers to access the information. Why make them work to get it?

I don’t like to be ‘interrupted’ with messages that I haven’t asked for and I don’t want to work to find out about a product or service.  I don’t think I’m alone in this.

So, what prompted this rant? An ever increasing amount of messages that want to me to work to follow-up on information I didn’t ask for.

So to Carrie, Marvin, Randall and all the others -

While your product or service may be of interest, I don’t appreciate being contacted in this manner. Please develop some type of relationship with me as I tend to do business with those I know, like and trust. If we tweet or I read your blog, I’ll know what products or services you offer and if I like what I see, I’ll gladly ask for information when I’m ready. But please don’t ‘interrupt’ me or make me work for it. Thank you -
